RFQ engineer.

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented RFQ Engineer to join our team. The RFQ Engineer will play a crucial role in the procurement process by preparing and managing Request for Quotation (RFQ) documents, analyzing supplier proposals, and collaborating with various departments to ensure the successful execution of procurement activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of production processes.

RFQ Engineer

Job details, tasks

Develop and prepare detailed Request for Quotation (RFQ) documents in collaboration with project managers, engineering, and other relevant stakeholders.
Evaluate product designs and feasibility.
Creation of technical data packages for procurement team.
Ensure that RFQs are comprehensive, accurate, and aligned with project requirements.
Supplier Identification and Evaluation:
Identify potential suppliers through market research and collaboration with the procurement team.
Evaluate supplier capabilities, performance, and reliability to ensure alignment with project needs.
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and specifications.
Collaborate with internal teams to gather technical information necessary for inclusion in RFQ documents.
Analyze supplier proposals and quotations to ensure they meet project specifications and budget constraints.
Conduct cost-benefit analyses and assess overall value for the organization.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of RFQs, supplier communications, and negotiations.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with supplier selection and procurement processes.
Actively participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the procurement function.
Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and emerging technologies relevant to procurement.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
Design new engineering products and processes??
Craft models and drawings of products using CAD??
Experience in production environment
Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
Solid communication and interpersonal abilities.
Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Advantage

Experience of mold injection process, product design or tooling design
